Recycling for Links-India
The Recycling Appeal collects mobile phones, PDAs and printer cartridges for reuse and recycling, raising funds and helping the environment.
The Recycling Appeal has generated over £3.2 million for partner organisations since 1999.
How you can help
Sign up and nominate Links-India:
This is not as straightforward as it might be but will improve once we gain a place on the, oh so important, drop-down list.
If what follows seems to complex just send me your details (name, address, contact number and email) and I’ll sign you up. (pamela@links-india.org)
For those who want to have a go at doing it themselves here are some hints!
1. On the recycling home page fill in the box saying how many cartridges etc you have to recycle now. If you don’t have any right now it doesn’t matter just put 0 or estimate how many you might have this year. If you have tons they’ll arrange a delivery.
2. Click “recycle now”. This will take you to a form.
3. Under provide information there is a box “collecting for” click on this and scroll to the bottom and choose “other organisation” and a new box will appear.
Type in Links-India
All the rest of this form is for your own details including (confusingly) the space with ‘organisation’ next to it.
4. Fill in your name and address and the lovely people at the recycling appeal will send you some freepost envelopes for your cartridges.
Please help spread the word:This is a great way to help the environment whilst raising money for Links-India and the sooner we get 30 people registered the sooner we get our name on the drop-down list.
Many thanks
