Would you like to help with our work? We are currently looking for volunteers who would enjoy: -
1. Book-keeping
We need someone to help log the financial transactions of the organisation and prepare basic reports when needed. It is not a big job but is very important. Full-training will be given.
2. Becoming a Director
Would you like to help with the running of Links-India? We are looking for new people to join our existing Board of Directors.
As a Director you would be expected to actively participate in the running of the organisation. In particular being involved in discussion about new work and publicity/fund-raising ideas. The Board meets formally once a year but for the rest of the time discussion takes places by email/phone. Most of our projects are now well-established and practically run themselves with a little help from Pamela.
It would be helpful if you had some experience of working in India and/or with a voluntary sector organisation – but neither is essential.
